OPEN DAIRY CATTLE SHOW

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY HEALTH PAPERS & IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE REGULATIONS.
Judging begins at 6:00 PM Wednesday in Barn.
Entry Fee: $3.00 per head.

Entries are open to the world unless otherwise specified. Entries must arrive at the Fairgrounds between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23. Animals may be removed from the Fairgrounds immediately following the shows. All animals showing in the Junior Show must stay except for lactating cows. Bedding will be furnished. Please do not bed with straw. Exhibitors must be able to control and show their animals. All animals entered at owner’s risk! Coffee County Fair Association will not be responsible for accidents. Separate classes for all breeds of dairy cattle (Jersey, Holstein, Guernsey, Brown Swiss, Ayrshire).
All animals must have registration or qualified herd book certification papers to be eligible to show.
All animals must be unloaded and exhibited.

Show Classes

1. Junior Calves—born March 1 or later of current year.

2. Intermediate Calves—born December 1, last year through February 28, this year.

3. Senior Calves—born September 1 through November 30, last year.

4. Summer Calves—born June 1 through August 31, last year.

5. Junior Yearling—born March 1 through May 31, last year.

6. Intermediate Yearling—born December 1 through February 28, last year.

7. Senior Yearling—born September 1 through November 30, year before last.

8. Junior Breed and Reserve—1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place (judge’s discretion) in classes 1-7. Separate classes for each breed - Rosette

9. Senior Yearling In Milk—born September 1 through November 30, year before last.

10. Cows, Junior 2 year old—born March 1 through August 31, year before last.

11. Cows, Senior 2 year old—born after September 1 of third previous year.

12. Cows, 3 year old—born after September 1 of fourth previous year.

13. Cows, 4 year old—born after September 1 of fifth previous year.

14. Aged Cows, 5 years old and over.

15. Senior Breed and Reserve—1st and/or 2nd Place animals (judge’s discretion) in classes 10-14. Separate classes for each breed—Rosette
